About Sasha
Meet Sasha!
This lovely young girl has been through some major heartbreak recently & we are determined to find her the best home where she will be welcomed indoors & into the hearts & lives of a new family. She lived in almost total isolation with her previous guardian & they loved each other so much. Unfortunately her guardian became unwell & could no longer care for Sasha & she was surrendered to us here at Bundaberg. She went from her safe, cosy, loving home to a rescue shelter which can be a noisy & confusing place for animals.
Sasha is looking for someone who is definitely at home more often than not; someone who has experience with the staffy breed & who will be committed to her ongoing positive reinforcement education & training. Although she has been very loved in the past, she lacks a few basic manners! With that in mind, we strongly suggest no small kids due to her bouncy nature.
Sasha has a joyful, playful personality & delights in ball games & squeaky toys! She is also one very smart cookie having had a few short clicker training sessions, she picks things up easily & loves those yummy treats!
Sasha has proved, so far, to be sociable & friendly with other dogs at the shelter & may well be able to live with another dog. A sociable, well mannered male might be the right match. A meet & greet prior to adoption would be needed to see if they hit it off :)
Sasha has a lot of love to give, a lot of things to experience, a lot of games to play & a heartbreak to mend. Could you be the one to help her on her journey to heal? She will make the most loyal & loving companion & will help heal your heart too.
