About Charlie
Meet Charlie!
At just under 10 years old, lovely Charlie is still very sprightly & playful. In fact, one of her favourite things is her squeaky toy & she plays like a puppy with it!
Being an older girl, all those challenging phases are well & truly done - no micro-managing a puppy, no annoying adolescence, this girl is a joy to spend time with. She walks really nicely on her harness, she settles well in her pen & is neither noisy nor destructive.
She still needs her daily walks, which she thoroughly enjoys, & does not pull or lunge, preferring to trot along next to you & smell all those interesting scents in her environment. Did you know that a daily Sniffari walk really helps to de-stress dogs? Letting dogs stop & sniff is vital to their well-being. Having had a walk in the sunshine & a play with her toys, she will happily snooze the afternoon away as long as she can be near you.
Charlie does have a few requirements: she would prefer to be the only dog in your life. She tolerates other dogs but would rather they stay out of her personal bubble. She is not interested in making doggie friends, she far prefers her humans!
She can be wary of strangers, especially those that feel that need to shove their hand into dogs' faces. It is important to understand how to read dog body language as they are telling us all the time how they feel. She is not happy with too much alone time.
She also needs to be allowed to live indoors with her new family, no being left out in the cold for this girl.
A warm bed, secure fencing, a high quality diet, loads of love & some squeaky toys are what this lovely lady is after.... could you be the one she's looking for?!
