About Cecilia
Cecilia is a young mumma cat with a world of love to give. She arrived pregnant, emaciated and lactating. Before she was rescued she had a litter, which she lost, and she was helping raise 4 remaining kittens from that colony.
CC went on to have a litter of 6, which she raised. Then she took on a litter of 5 from a colony mate who had mastitis. THEN she took on another 2 kittens who had been abandoned by their owner and came into care with their own emaciated, lactating mother. If you're counting that's seventeen, not including the litter that she lost.
When we say CC has love to give, we do not say this lightly. She is a truly sweet, sweet girl who will blossom into a fantastic companion. She is learning what it's like to be in a household. She loves a pat, and can easily and safely be picked up for a cuddle. But at this stage she won't cuddle long. I do believe that this will change.
She LOVES to curl up on your feet at night. Whether you're in bed or on the couch. Feet are awesome. In a short amount of time I believe she will become a bit of a lap cat. On cold nights.
She has her routine. At night, after dinner, she goes mental over the tiniest scrap of paper, bit of dirt or fluff. You won't know its there, until she's bouncing around, stiff legged, mouth wide open. Toys - she's not much interested in.
CC would ideally go to a home with a furry friend. She is great with all kinds of friendly cats, and would do exceptionally well with other animals like confident rabbits or smaller dogs. She does like her dalmatian foster brothers, but they're so big. A smaller dog she would play with and groom. As far as kids go, she would be ok with quieter children who are either older or experienced with cats. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body, but she would hide if she wasn't comfortable.
