About Obi-better-than-Kenobi
Beautiful Obi is a strong soul with a heart of gold. He is affectionate and loving with his foster parents. Obi originally came into care with his “mama” Angel (a senior German Shepherd), and she has since been adopted and is living her best life on a rural property.
Obi is a big boy and has learned to walk on a halti harness and this will need to be continued to maintain any kind of control. Obi is currently being taught how to walk alongside another dog and this will need to continue being maintained. He isn’t an overly active dog and has learned to ignore other dogs on his travels.
At home, Obi is a calm and relaxed soul. He is happy to sit by your side while you do your thing. Obi is happy to hang out at home with or without you, having access to inside and out. Obi currently has neighbouring dogs and while they carry on at the fence and bark, Obi isn’t phased by them at all.
Obi is learning every day and is a keen student but he can be a little stubborn so patience (and food, he’s not fussy) is a must. He is happy to wait for you to tell him its ok to chow down his dinner (don’t worry, he shouldn’t bowl you over to get to it!).
Due to Obi’s size, we recommend his new home to be with adults and experienced teens. As well as this, an in person meet and greet is a must for Obi (if not more than one).
Medical notes
Obi is a healthy fella, he has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
