About Rhea
Despite being rescued from
horrific circumstances, Rhea has the most beautiful nature and wears her heart on her sleeve. It took her a couple of weeks in foster care to learn to trust humans again but once she’s realised that no one’s going to hurt her, she goes out of her way to express her gratitude and love.
She’s highly intelligent and very obedient and will sit without being asked whenever she sees her humans, including when welcoming them home. She doesn’t jump up at all and will only give you licks if you bend down and put your face close to hers.
At about 20kg, she’s just the right size for any household. Her gentle nature makes her perfect for households with children. She adores the neighbourhood children and often tries to get them to play with her when she sees them riding past on their bikes.
Rhea is toilet trained and walks well on a leash. She travels well in a car and will simply lie down on the backseat.
She sometimes barks at other dogs on first meeting, usually out of excitement, but plays well with them once she knows them. She loves cats but can get a tad overzealous when trying to befriend them so supervised introduction is recommended.
Please send us an enquiry if you’d like to meet Rhea!
