About Healy
Healy is a beautiful pup with a gorgeously affectionate nature.
A super-duper smart boy, he was toilet-trained in two days, and learned how to sit and give his paw in just a week. Healy picks things up fantastically well and will be an amazing addition to any active family.
MY IDEAL HOME: My perfect forever home would have plenty of space for me to stretch my long legs out and have a good gallop around. I love, love, LOVE the company of my humans, so I look forward to spending lots of cuddle time with you.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: As I get older I'm finding my energy levels are really picking up! I'm looking forward to getting used to spending time outside so I can race around a lot more and tire myself out.
At least one long walk a day will be best for me, both morning and evening ideally. I'm probably going to need ongoing lead training, at the moment I find the big outdoors pretty intimidating (although I'm giving it a go, and my foster dad says I'm improving every day!).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children yet. I'm really loving and affectionate though, so once I'm through with my chew-anything-in-range stage, I reckon kids are going to love having me around.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get on well with other dogs when I'm out on a walk. What's a cat? Sounds interesting...

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
