About Heidi
*In foster care in Meadowbank, Sydney*
Heidi (or Heidi Ho as she's affectionately known in her foster home) is soft as a cloud, sweet as a lollipop and the ultimate smooch!
Her confidence is still growing, and as she hides away less and less, she spends more time snoozing on beds, lounges and cat trees. She's also shown a fondness for chin scratches, head butts and stretching as she's become more comfortable :)
A sleepy girl who waits for no one when it's bedtime - often taking herself off at 10pm - Heidi is an absolute grandma! But you'll never be in doubt that she's still a kitten. Play fighting with her sister, trotting around with a toy in her mouth and pouncing on unsuspecting toes are among her favourite pastimes!
Like all Maggie's pets, Heidi is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with a lovely person, couple or family with older kids who'll help me to continue building my confidence. Though I'm currently in a home with three other cats, I'd be happiest as your one-and-only, or with one other kitty friend at most.
Loud sounds or unexpected visitors don't generally worry me, however I'd enjoy a quieter home where we can just hang out and maybe go to bed early together? :)
I love a good cuddle too, but you'll probably need to be the one who initiates it as chances are I've already snagged a comfy spot!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm the purrfect mix of snoozy and playful! I do like to settle in for looooong naps whenever possible, but I'll also play with my sister when she comes up with a fun game, or chase toys around.
I'm also a bit of a morning kitten - letting my foster parents know I'm ready to start the day nice and early, then going to bed at a sensible hour :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm certainly more of a timid soul, so patient, gentle children (preferable 5+) would likely suit me best!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I live with my litter sister and two feline foster sisters as well. We wrestle and cuddle together, but ultimately I'm pretty independent and appreciate my own space.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
