About Raven
*In foster care in Meadowbank, Sydney*
Spunky kitten Raven is a proud alumni of the School of Spice! This beautiful house panther has come on in leaps and bounds since arriving in Maggie's care, making up for lost time at every opportunity. Energetic, affectionate and brave, she's so dang easy to dote on!
Raven is a funny girl - she knows what she wants, the moment she wants it - but then she'll probably forget what that was and get distracted by something else :) She's known for getting overly excited and misplacing her paws, causing lots of slapstick slips and slides!
This little darling also understands her responsibilities when a family member is under the weather. When her foster mum was sick, Raven made sure to bake endless biscuits, and always kept a supply of get-well kisses and cuddles on hand :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Raven is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
MY IDEAL HOME: I'm super-playful with a penchant for evening snuggles, so I'm the best of all worlds, really! I get on well with my feline foster sisters, and would enjoy living with another nice cat or two.
As for the humans - you'll need to be loving and patient, letting me settle in in my own way and at my own pace. Once I'm comfy, I do what a black cat does best - become your shadow! I'll greet you when you come home and make sure we're hanging out in the same room pretty much all the time :)
I'm really looking for a home that will help me continue to build my confidence, as I'm an OG spicy kitten. I can get a tiny bit growly, but I don't mean anything by it, it just means I'm a little scared.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: They don't call me a house panther for nothing! I love to play, either with people or other cats. In the evenings, I have a habit of taking a 15-minute nap and then wandering across my foster parents' chests, the lounge and cat trees, until I ultimately settle on someone's lap (often my foster dad's)! However, any chance to play, I'll take it (foster mum keeps saying her crochet isn't a toy - I don't believe her).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've not met any children yet. I think I might find them a bit intimidating, so older ones (8+) who'll show me kindness and understanding as I adjust to my new home will be best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I live with my litter sister Heidi and two other fosters at the moment - Heidi and I play all the time and Olive (one of my foster sisters) and I love to chase each other around the apartment! The other one, Martha, isn't that keen on me, but I'm not scared of her either :)
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
