About Moira
*In foster care in Ashfield, Sydney*
Moira has bounced back like a champ from her early start as a flu-stricken stray, and now you'd never know she's been anything but hale and hearty! This darling girl is a whirlwind of energy and love - super-smoochy one minute and zipping away the next, in typical cheeky tortie fashion :)
Primed to thrive in her new home, Moira is well socialised with other cats and will be keen to play and bond with any resident kitties - as long as they don't mind getting sneak-attacked! But she's also Little Miss Independent, entertaining herself for hours on end with her favourite Da Bird toy.
Moira adores leisurely naps on the couch with you, has a good tolerance level for being carried, and didn't mind being wrangled into a baby onesie to protect her desexing surgery site (see photos!). She'll be fully recovered from her surgery by the second week of April and ready to go to her new home.
Like all Maggie's pets, Moira is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm hoping to remain an indoor-only cat (having an outdoor enclosure is a massive bonus but not required!), though I may be open to supervised harness walks outdoors due to my high play drive and curious, inquisitive nature!
A household with other cats would be seriously amazing, as long as I have my own space to retreat to when needed - and my own special food bowl and litter tray, of course! If I'm to be your one and only, I'll definitely need heaps of good toys, scratchers and cuddles.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I love a good play - both alone, and with you or other cats :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Any kids in the home should be at least school age, as I'll be happiest in a quieter environment with a solid routine.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are the best!
I haven't really had much to do with dogs at this stage, so if you've got one just be aware it might take me some time to adapt.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
