About Ace
Ace is a charming Staffy mix, a 3-year-old male with a unique backstory. He came into the shelter with some scarring from previous encounters, showcasing his adventurous spirit and prey drive. Ace is not suited to live with cats or small dogs due to his hunting instincts. However, he compensates with his affectionate and loving nature, although he may take a little time to warm up to new people. Once he does, he's an absolute love bug and craves attention and affection.
With medium energy levels, Ace thrives on a good daily walk and cherishes spending time with his beloved humans. Like many dogs of his breed, he does experience separation anxiety and would benefit from a household where someone is often present. Ace has demonstrated his prowess by scaling fences in the past, so secure 6ft colorbond fencing is a must in his new home.
Ace is suitable for a family with older children aged 13 and above. While he may be a bit anxious around other dogs initially, he tends to get along better with female dogs. A meet and greet can be arranged for a male dog with the right temperament. Despite his scars, Ace is in good health with no current health concerns. He would thrive in an active household that can provide him with love, attention, and plenty of adventures.
