About Mayo
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Meet Mayo, a super-sweet, fluffy and GORGEOUS girl with a heart full of love! Originally a street kitten, she's courageously overcome her early fears and blossomed into a confident companion.
Mayo craves attention from her favourite humans - giving gentle headbutts if you're not patting her enough - and getting brushed sends her into raptures :) She loves exploring her surroundings, tussling with her toys, and spending quality time with her foster parents.
With a hearty appetite and a penchant for lounging on window sills while observing birds, Mayo is set to bring endless joy and happiness to her forever home!
Like all Maggie's pets, Mayo is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be a quiet environment with people who'll give me space to adjust to my new life, and provide heaps of hands-on attention and interactive play! A home with another nice cat or two would also be amazing :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! - lots of enthusiastic games and wrestling with toys, mixed in with lots of long naps.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I've made great strides in foster care, I'd probably not enjoy loud noises or being chased, so families with children aged 5+ who are used to cats would be best!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my foster sibling Truffle - we're constantly playing and snoozing together! - so I reckon I'd love to live with a purrmanent feline friend.
I haven't had any experience with dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
