About Cony
Cony is an absolute delight! This little girl is clever, affectionate, and beautiful to match. She loves being near her humans and would greet them at the door with a happy little dance, carrying her favourite soft toy.
During her stay in foster care Cony has also proven to be a true belly rub enthusiast, using any chance she gets to show off her fluffy white tummy. Cony has been on a fitness journey since entering care, arriving a little 'rotund' Cony has lost a bit of weight and has built up some stamina, she's quite the athlete these days! She is closer to Spitz size than a Pom.
MY IDEAL HOME: Cony would love to go to a home where she could have as much human company as possible. Being a cross between two fairly vocal dog breeds, she likes to alert her people to any unusual noises. She would therefore do better in a calmer household, where she could kick her paws up and relax. She currently lives in an apartment, and has settled in well.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Despite her age, Cony loves a good walk in the park(30-40 min), where she likes to sniff and run around. After her daily walk, she is happy to snooze the day away, while always keeping a watchful eye on her humans!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Cony would do well with dog savvy children, who could provide her with a lot of attention, but would also know when to give her some space to relax.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: In foster care she has been living with a 9-year-old female Boxer cross without any issue. She would be suited to a home with another calm dog, but would also be more than happy to be the centre of attention. She has not been tested with cats.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
