About Remington Steele
Described in three words: confident, social, loyal. Remi has all the attributes that a person would look for in a pup. He has a fantastic temperament and a good set of nerves.
In foster care, Remi has gained a lot of socialisation by going to new places everyday, meeting lots of people and meeting lots of new dogs in a controlled environment.
Remi loves an adventure and loves to be near and with the handler.
Remi is: crate trained, toilet trained, walks well on lead, already working on basic obedience (come, sit, stay, down, heel).
Remi also has good food, toy and pack drive - making training fun and easy for his new owners.
It's estimated that Remi will grow to be a 35kg(ish) dog
Like all Maggie's pets, Remington Steele is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Remi's ideal home would be with a person or people who understand guardian breeds. He is highly trainable and would suit someone who wants a pup who they can work and train on a daily basis.
Although Remi is fine on his own, he would thrive as a dog by spending lots of time with his people.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Remi has medium level energy. When he's out and about people will comment "OMG he's so calm".
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Remi hasn't had much exposure to children but his foster carer thinks he would make a great addition to a family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Remi is great with dogs. In his foster home he lives with two older dogs.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
