About Kai
*In foster care in Port Hacking, Sydney*
A fun-loving boy who has the loudest purr you've ever heard and who'll make you laugh every day, darling Kai is a total treasure!
He can be on the shy side at first, but as soon as he's feeling comfortable around you his full, fabulous personality comes out to play - literally :) There's no such thing as a favourite toy with Kai - he loves them all equally and can play for hours on end. Bring home a cat laser and you'll be his best buddy for life!
While Kai loves to be around his foster family, he's not big on cuddles at this stage. He shows his affection by greeting you by the door when you get home and rubbing against your legs :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Kai is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Spending time with my special people is important to me, so lots of quality human company is a must. You'll also be fine with letting me settle in at my own pace, so trust can grow in a slow and organic way and we can eventually become BFFs!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to play just as much as I love to sleep. You're as likely to find me chasing my toys around the house as you are to find me curled up on the bed or couch, dreaming the day away!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm a gentle soul who's best suited to a quieter home with kids of at least school age (5+) and ideally a bit older.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm best mates with the two other cats in my foster home - especially my 'brother from another mother' Romeo! We love to play, chase and wrestle for hours, then snuggle up together for a nice long snooze :)
I haven't met any dogs yet.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
