About Lenny
*In foster care in Lidcombe, Sydney*
Super-smoochy and full of confidence, Lenny loves to follow his humans around and ask to be carried in their arms! He's not particularly noisy, but he'll definitely let you know through cute little meeps that he'd like a cuddle :)
This gorgeous boy is also obsessed with a little furry bed from Kmart - it’s his go-to safe space when he wants to nap after a big play. You’ll know he’s there because you'll hear him suckling the fabric and making biscuits!
Lenny had a rough start to life after being found with his two brothers abandoned without a mother, in poor health, in a public toilet cubicle. This hasn't stopped him from loving and trusting his humans, though! If anything, it's strengthened his bond with people as his desire for affection seems to be his way of saying, 'Thank you for saving me!'
Like all Maggie's pets, Lenny is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have someone around most of the time to hang out with - human or pet! - as I've never been completely by myself and don't want to be! I've heard feeling lonely is the pits :(
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Typical kitten - silly bursts of energy followed by long, dead-to-the-world naps!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great, I'd say! I've been handled and carried constantly in foster care, and I've never shown any signs of aggression.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A busy, multi-cat household would suit me down to the ground. I live in one right now and it's heaps of fun!
I did spend two weeks living with a young cavoodle and though I was hesitant at first, once I realised she wasn't a threat I had no problem hanging out with her too!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
