About Rosie
Hey there, potential fur-parents! My name is Rosie, and I'm ready to tell you a bit about myself as I search for my forever home. I started my journey here at RSPCA as a stray, and although I can be a bit timid at first, I promise there's a whole lot of love waiting to burst out of me! I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I become the ultimate smooch bug. Yes, that's right – I'm all about those head nudges and purrs that will melt your heart.
I've been through some tough times, but I've got a positive spirit that's ready to shine. Oh, and speaking of positives, I've tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Don't worry, though – it doesn't slow me down one bit! I'm a resilient feline, and with the right care, I can lead a happy and healthy life.
Now, let's talk about my ideal home. Due to my initial shyness, it's best if there are no kids under 6 in the household. I thrive in calm and patient environments where I can take my time adjusting to my new surroundings. A cozy spot by the window, some tasty treats, and your understanding will go a long way in helping me feel safe and loved. While I was waiting to find my fur-ever home, I was treated for conjunctivitis. This is an inflammation of the soft membrane in my eye. The nice vets treated me with some eye cream and now I am all better.
I dream of finding that special someone who sees past my initial hesitation and recognizes the loving and affectionate cat that I am. Could that be you? If you're ready to open your heart to a sweet and gentle companion, I'm here, waiting for you. Come meet me, and let's start our journey together! Love, Rosie
