About Carrot Cake
*In foster care in Lidcombe, Sydney*
As sweet and wholesome as her namesake, Carrot Cake will delight you with her calm and cuddly nature!
She's a real old soul, preferring to suss out new situations before diving in, and very independent too - though morning and late-night snuggles with her foster humans are an essential part of her routine :)
Carrot sleeps happily through the night, enjoys the company of other cats, and is a wonderfully restful colleague if you work from home.
Like all Maggie's pets, Carrot Cake is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: As a quiet and sometimes shy girl, I'm looking for a patient person, couple or family who'll understand my needs and respect my boundaries.
I really appreciate routine, and I can't wait to develop a cuddle schedule with my new humans! Please give me lots of love - I promise to reward you with epic purrs.
I'll also require a bit of space to run around, some kitten toys and a good sunny spot to take my naps. And another cat or two to bond with would be amazing :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, overall! Though I'm pretty laidback I definitely have my playful moments. Naptime happens wherever my humans are - whether it's at your feet, on a sofa, nearby on a cat tree or anywhere else!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't know any kids yet but I'd be keen to meet them as long as they love and respect cats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore cats - the more the merrier! - but I've had no experience with dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
