About Chilli
Hi, I'm Chilli, and just like my name implies, I've got a touch of spice in my personality. If you're seeking a feline companion with a bit of sass and a whole lot of charm, then you've found your match.
I've earned my name for a reason – I'm not your average laid-back kitty. I'm a bit spicy, but that only adds to my unique charm. I'm on the lookout for a special someone who can appreciate my independent spirit. Handling isn't really my thing. I prefer to make the rules and approach you when the mood strikes. While cuddles might not be my go-to, I have my own ways of expressing affection. When I'm feeling it, I'll come over for some head bunts and quality time.
I have something a little different about me. I have something called skin allergy detmatitis. It has a big fancy name but I can never promounce it properly. When I came into the RSPCA I had some fur missing so the nice vets ran some test to work out what caused it. They aren't sure what has exactly caused it however they think it could be from flea or insect bites, food or a contact allergy. For now I am doing fine, however if in the future you notice me scratching a lot and causing fur loss again it might be a good idea to take me to see my new vet
For me to thrive in my new home, there are a few key considerations:
- No Kids, please: I'm not a fan of the little humans. A child-free home would suit me best, allowing me the space and tranquility I crave
- Solo Cat Household: I like being the queen of the castle, and having the space all to myself. I don't get along with other cats, so I'm looking for a home where I can be the sole feline ruler.
- Patience is Key: It took me a while to adjust to the shelter, but with time, I blossomed. I'll need a patient and understanding owner who can give me the space I need to feel comfortable in my new surroundings.
When I came into the shelter I had something called peridontal diesease. This is when there are dental pockets around my tooth rot which is caused by bacteria, which affects the ligaments and bones around the root of the tooth. Lucky for me, the nice vets took out the bad teeth and gave the rest a good clean. To keep my teeth in tip top shape, it is best if you get me yearly dental check ups and feed me a good dental diet and dental chews..
I'll admit it; I can be a bit spoiled. But who could blame me? A little pampering and a cozy spot to call my own would make me one happy cat. So, if you're ready for a feline companion who comes with a dash of spice and a lot of character, I'm here waiting for you. I'm sure to become the purr-fect addition to your family. Chilli 🌶️🐾
