About Winston
I am Winston, a refined and distinguished five-year-old British Shorthair, possessing a coat of silver and blue that complements the aura of sophistication that envelops me. The first detail that captures one's attention, undoubtedly, is the brilliance of my large, bright eyes, windows to the soul of a feline gentleman seeking a home where elegance and companionship converge.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a rather vocal fellow, and I'm not shy about expressing my desire for attention from my humans. In fact, I thrive on human companionship, and I'm at my happiest when I'm sharing moments with my favourite people. That's why I'm on the lookout for a home where someone can be around often to keep me company and shower me with the affection I adore.
When I came into the shelter I had something called peridontal diesease. This is when there are dental pockets around my tooth rot which is caused by bacteria, which affects the ligaments and bones around the root of the tooth. Lucky for me, the nice vets took out the bad teeth and gave the rest a good clean. To keep my teeth in tip top shape, it is best if you get me yearly dental check ups and feed me a good dental diet and dental chews.
Due to my preference for a tranquil environment, I'd do best in a home without other pets. I enjoy being the center of attention, and I believe I'm worthy of all the love and devotion you can offer. Also, I would appreciate a home without kids under 16, just to ensure a calm and stress-free atmosphere that suits my refined taste. Now, there's something you should know about me – I've been diagnosed with otitis externa, a condition affecting my ears. But fear not, as I'm a resilient fellow, and with a little extra care, I'm ready to enjoy life to the fullest with you by my side. Upon my arrival to the shelter, the vets diagnosed me with an entropian. This is when my eyelids rolls inwards and hairs rub on my eye. It was very sore, but luckily for me the nice vets performed a surgery on my eyelid to fix this problem. While it will most likely never happen, if at any point in the future you notice my eye becoming very watery, swollen or red then a trip to the vet would be best just to make sure everything is ok. If you're looking for a charming feline companion who will make your heart skip a beat with every purr and enchant you with those mesmerizing eyes, then I'm the one for you. Love Winston.
