About Eggplant
Hello my new friends, my name is Eggplant and it's a pleasure to meet you!
I am patiently waiting here at the Sydney adoption centre until my paw-fect family comes along. It would be great if my new owners are familiar with staffy-types and who can understand what floats my boat and what drains my bucket. I display some typical traits for my breed - I have lots of energy and I can become bouncy when I am excited. But that's ok, with your help and patience I will learn new skills that will help me be the best girl I can be for you. Activities at home which will help me decompress, such as a snuffle mats, scatter feeding, appropriate chewing opportunities, and plenty of exploration may help me transition into my new home and learn settling techniques as I've heard not everyone loves an enthusiastic staffy bouncing towards them!
I would suit a home where children are over the age of 12 years. Older children will be able to help in my training at home where I can learn new skills, maybe a trick or two!
If you have another dog at home, please bring them in to meet me to ensure that we will get along and be the best of friends. I have met some dogs during my time here at the shelter and I think they look pretty fun. A meet and greet would ensure that our energy levels match.
My new home will need indoor and outdoor access as I am used to living outside but would love the opportunity to come inside with you and having plenty of options of where I am going to hang out.
If I sound like the paw-fect girl for you, come on in and meet me! What are you waiting for!?
Yours truly,
